Overview
The Stat Tracker app (also referred to as “we”, “our”, or “the app”) provides a home screen widget that displays publicly available statistics for YouTube channels. This includes subscriber count, video count, and total views. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or sensitive user data.
📌 What Data We Access
- YouTube Public Channel Data
We fetch data from the YouTube Data API v3 for a specified public channel. This includes:- Channel name
- Profile image
- Subscriber count
- Total video count
- Total view count
- Shared Preferences (Local Storage)
We store your selected channel ID and your display preferences (light/dark mode) on your device only. This information is not shared or uploaded.
🔒 What We Do Not Collect
- ❌ No personal information
- ❌ No device identifiers
- ❌ No user account access
- ❌ No analytics, advertising, or tracking
📡 Network Access
The app requires internet access to fetch live YouTube statistics. All data requests are made directly to the YouTube API over HTTPS.
