Profile
We are a long established club that meet on the second Tuesday of each month, at the Birch hill community centre, we cover all aspects of the hobby, tropical, marine, pond and cold water fish, our meetings are friendly and informal and in a way that all the members can understand, and join in, we chat about problems that a member may have, or how you have bred, or setting up a tank to breed a certain type of fish, we even talk about the failures too, that’s how we all learn. At the moment we are putting together a program for the club, there’ll be slide shows, talks and demonstrations that cover all interests of the hobby, and a level we can all understand. The club is also well known at the fish shows too, winning championship classes, best fish in show awards, and a member even winning the 2010 British open show, but mainly, just taking part is the fun bit, and making lifelong friends on the way, if you have never been to a fish show before, our show will be in this hall on the 8th June, why not drop in and look around at what we do. So, if you keep fish, you’re experienced or new to this great hobby, why not pop along one evening and have a look, see what you think, if you live in local area, or even if you don’t, we would be glad to meet you, if you’d like more info, please get in touch.
